About Afrolifo
Afrolifo was born out of a simple idea: getting the African groceries you love shouldn't mean a long trip across town — especially if you're older, have limited mobility, or simply don't have the time.

Afrolifo is a Hamburg-based, community-rooted delivery service. We started this because we saw members of our own community — elders, busy parents, people without a car — struggling to reach the shops that carry the ingredients and products that feel like home. So we built a way to bring it to them instead.
Whether it's jollof rice, suya spice, plantain, or your favorite Afroshop staples, we shop it, pack it with care, and deliver it — so you can spend less time traveling and more time enjoying what matters.

Afrolifo is a Hamburg grocery delivery service for African food. Send your shopping list on WhatsApp, we buy it at your favourite Afroshop, and we bring it to your door — next day as standard, or same day between 16:00 and 20:00.
Finding African groceries in Hamburg usually means a long trip: yam, plantain, garri, egusi, fufu flour, palm oil, suya spice, dried fish, stockfish, jollof rice ingredients or fresh peppers are stocked in specific Afroshops, not in the supermarket around the corner. Instead of crossing the city, you send us the list and we do the trip for you.
We shop in the Afroshop you choose. If you don't have a favourite yet, tell us what you need and we'll buy it in a partner shop that carries it. Every item is checked before it is packed, and if something is out of stock we message you before substituting or skipping it — never afterwards.
Delivery is €7.99 for standard next-day delivery, plus €4.99 for express same-day delivery between 16:00 and 20:00. Minimum order is €50, and from €150 shopping and delivery are free. You can pay cash on delivery.
